When can I register/create my account with myLabWorks?

You can register/create your account with myLabWorks once you receive a Dynacare lab authorization form. Please note that availability of lab reports is subject to your insurance company's subscription to this service.

How do I register with myLabWorks?

To ensure maximum security of your personal information, the registration is designed as a two-step process:

Step 1: Go to www.mylabworks.com/register and create an account following the instructions on the screen. In addition to personal information, you need to provide the lab identifier found on the Lab Authorization Form you received when your lab samples were collected.

Step 2: Once you submit your registration, you will receive a confirmation email to your registered email account. Click on the Registration Confirmation Link and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the registration process.

When I try to register, I receive the error message User ID already exists.

This error will occur if you are attempting to register using a User ID that is already in use by an individual currently registered with myLabWorks. Enter a new User ID and try again. Please note that your email address may be used as a User ID as well. However, if you are sharing the same email address with other members of the family, each family member will need to create their own unique User ID.

My spouse and I are sharing the same email address. How can we register separately?

The myLabWorks portal is designed to provide lab results and other health information for a specific individual. Therefore, each individual should create and monitor their own myLabWorks account. Both, your spouse and you, shall register by providing unique User IDs. You can provide the same email address as part of the registration information. Please note that any email communication will be delivered to the registered email account. You need to ensure that the email is read by the intended user.

When I try to confirm my registration, an error page is displayed.

An error page appears when there is a problem processing your request.
When you clicked on the Registration Confirmation Link in your confirmation email, your email program may not have recognized the entire URL link.
Please note: The URL link may not fit on a single line. Some email programs do not recognize that the URL continues on the second line. In this case, it is important that you copy and paste the complete link into your browser. You will need to use one of the supported browsers to access myLabWorks.

When I answer a security question, I receive the error message Answer is incorrect. Please try again

This error will occur if the answer entered does not match the answer that was initially entered during the registration.
Re-try by making sure the answer is entered in the same way, by using the same punctuation and spacing. Note that the answer is NOT case sensitive.

I cannot find the insurance barcode required to register.

After the process of collecting your lab samples is completed, you should receive a copy of the Lab Authorization Form. The lab identifier can be found at the top of the form, as shown in the image below.

How many times can I access my lab report?

I want to add a family member to my account.

This service is designed to provide results and other health information for a specific individual. Therefore, each individual should create and monitor their own myLabWorks account. A family member should register on the portal, by providing a unique User ID and own lab identifier. Please note that the same email address can be registered for multiple accounts.

I have received an email notification informing me that my lab report has been updated. Why was my report updated?

Your report may be updated by the testing laboratory (Dynacare) for any of the following reasons:

- A new test added by the insurance company
- A corrected test result or an adjusted reference range
- Data entry corrections such as date or time of specimen collection, insurance company information, etc.

Note that your updated report clearly highlights the changes to test result values. For revised test results, the previous reported value is available to you by clicking on the Revised link next to the test result. Newly added tests are marked as New.

How do I deactivate my account with myLabWorks?

If you decide to discontinue using this service, choose the Deactivate Account option available on the user profile page. Upon deactivation, your account will become unaccessible. Should you decide to re-activate your account, please send an e-mail to info@mylabworks.com.

Some of my tests are out of range. What should I do?

Please note that the ranges shown in this report are merely guidelines. Healthy people may sometimes fall outside the expected ranges. Furthermore, these tests have been done for insurance purposes and not under optimal clinical requirements. Guidelines for their interpretation may be different than those followed by your physician or healthcare provider. We are not trying to make a diagnosis and would encourage you to simply discuss these results with your physician or healthcare provider before coming to any conclusions.

If you have questions about any of the results in your lab report, please consult your physician or healthcare provider. They can discuss your concerns with you and provide perspective based on your health status.

How can I email my lab report to my physician or healthcare provider?

Your lab report can be saved as a PDF file which you can attach to an email. Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the report is sent securely to the desired recipient.

I have subscribed to email notifications, but I am not receiving any emails.

There are several reasons for this:

1. Access to your lab report is subject to your insurance company's subscription to this service. If you do not receive an email notifcation and have no access to your lab report, contact your insurance company.

2. Dynacare releases lab reports only when the personal information you provided during registration matches your personal information on your Lab Authorization Form. Please ensure that the information provided at registration as well as the lab identifer match the information on the Lab Authorization Form. You can update any information by accessing your User Profile page.

3. The registered email address may differ from the email account you are currently using. Check your registered email address in the User Profile section and make the appropriate changes, if needed.

4. The email is being redirected to your SPAM email folder. Check your Spam folder, highlight the myLabWorks email message and select Not Spam.

My spouse does not have access to my lab report.

This service is designed to provide lab results and other health information for a specific individual. If you want to share your access to a family member or a healthcare provider, you may choose to save a PDF copy of the report. You then have an option to print or email it to the recipient of your choice.

What does expected range mean?

The expected range for a given test is generally based on the results that are seen in 95% of the healthy population. Sometimes patients whose test results are outside the reference range may be healthy, and some patients whose test results are within the reference range may have a health problem. Consult your physician or health care provider if you have questions about your lab results.
